Dear Computer Vision and Machine Learning enthusiasts,

Welcome to the moderated Computer Vision and Machine Learning  (CVML) email list cvml@lists.auth.gr. The list is fully functional and still is populating at a large rate. You are now welcomed to post your messages and spread the word. I do hope it will be a very useful tool to the scientific community. We shall devote every effort to this effect, by careful moderation.

Here are some simple instructions on its use:

1. To subscribe (for free) to this new Computer Vision and Machine Learning (CVML) email list and send/receive scientific messages/news, please:

   send an empty email to sympa@lists.auth.gr with subject: subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr  your_name

   Your_name is optional. 

   For example if your name is John Smith, your email subject should be: subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr  John Smith

   or subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr

   Once you subscribe you can receive the messages separately(default) or in digest format (twice a week).

   If you want to receive messages in digest format, please send a request email to the moderator Orestis Sarakatsanos orestiss@csd.auth.gr

2. To post a message (in English) to CVML please:

   send an email to cvml@lists.auth.gr with subject: [Topic] Your_subject

   [Topic] should be one of the following ones: [Jobs], [Conferences], [Journals], [Courses], [Studies], [News]. 

   If you want to resend a message to cvml on the same subject with an already broadcasted one, wait for 15 calendar days. It will be re-broadcasted only once. 

3. You can post messages any time. The moderator will review and forward them each Tuesday and Thursday around 12:00 noon EET (target around 10 messages per time).

4. You can unsubscribe any time, by sending an empty email to sympa@lists.auth.gr with subject: unsubscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr
